In 1980, during halftime, Miss State presented us (Tech) with a bulldog. The pup of their mascot, as I recall. I might be off a little on that, but seems that's what happened.
I do know we lost the game 31-11. They were pretty good that year, 9-2 and went on to play Nebraska in the Sun Bowl.
Yep, Yale's endowment is over $25 billion.
We are talking about a dog. It doesn't take millions to get a dog.
Seriously, folks. It doesn't take Yale money to get a bulldog. All it takes is a little effort, which apparently those in charge at Tech don't have.
What if someone who owned a purebred bulldog showed up at the stadium with that dog on a leash? I can see them just walking through the tailgate area and in front of the stadium at pregame - how many pictures do you think will be taken?
I would bring my Bulldog (we just adopted him) if I lived in Ruston.
Plus early in the season the heat is brutal on us and its worse on a bulldog. Trying to keep mine cool at a tailgate/game would be a major pain. Besides Adelaide doesn't stray far from her designated spot, lol.

At least yours was cordial enough to respond, mine would just give me the F off look at turn back to the game
