Was it a legal hit? Dude's helmut hit under his chin and knocked his tooth out. Didn't see the game, did they review the play?
If the NCAA followed its own rules, that kid would sit out a game after reviewing the hit. However, that would mess up the dynasty's chance of continuing.

The commentators said that the replay official said that the returner wasn't defenseless and it wasn't helmet to helmet (which we thought it was).
It wasn't the replay official - it was a call from the SEC office in Birmingham to the booth to either Gary or Verne - both of whom thought it should of been targeting due to the fact he led with the crown of the helmet to the face mask - the SEC office's response was that basically it was a football move that caused what appeared to be targeting and the returner was NOT defenseless
