That's what I was referring to (as the rest of my post indicates). If we could win out until SoMiss, and SoMiss loses to North Texas (i.e. their 2nd division loss; first was to UTSA), then we could lose and still play in the championship (i.e. with only 1 division loss, and the tie breaker against the rest of the west).

Actually, you're right, because of our loss to MTSU, we would still have to beat SoMiss to play in the championship. The division is only the 4-5th tier qualifier, while the head-to-head is the 2nd tier.

WK played game there few years ago and there was about 500 people at game ( wk scored 49 in first half -in 70 point range and won when they stopped a 2 point conversion on last play).

Bahamas are very expensive and about the last place I want to go. Think Dallas and New Orleans bowl helps recruiting more -- family -friends can enjoy experience ...

I wish the Bahamas Bowl would fold. It would a great trip for the players as far as the festive Bowl stuff they get to do, but I know they would rather play in front of a large crowd of Tech fans.

One problem with Schlabach is he has SMU in Indy - which is a C-usa secondary tie-in

I think he means more exposure to recruits in those prime recruiting areas if we played in Dallas or New Orleans.
