Yes, I remember back in the 70s the same scientists were warning us about global cooling. BTW the guy who won the Nobel Prize with Al Gore has retracted his position. See Freakonomics Two.
The kid who loved Rose on The Titanic is now telling us he has visited sites around the globe and in his expert opinion global warming is very real.

was in Alaska few months ago and mountains were green-- the Fjord was melted, walking around in shorts --Alaskans are conservative, anti-government as a rule but all know that is warm ..4 Habiscus made it thru winter- alive and well-- I am going to Great barrier in March and every year since 1986 I have seen the gradual effects of warming... its just nature ..
Back on Rice-- man I remember 3 straight games last year when it was monsoons. I sat bye myself ( and Russdawg) on student side-got pneumonia and went to Rice game sick as a dog and it poured and then the miserable S Miss game. I am so damn happy that it has been great weather this year.

Global Warming is a elitist, liberal bias agenda money maker for the true globalist. The folks in charge of this bs agenda havebthe various agencies under their control lying their arses off about it. And yes even NASA.
Fact is the earth warms and cools to the point some might even say it seems to breath. Right now the north polar regions are warmer then usual but the Antartic regions are colder. And yes we could go through another ice age with the sun growing cooler/blank per sunspot activity etc...
And being a geologist I know the earth's rock record proves these facts.

OK, that was fun. Now about this Rice team ...
Looks like Samuel Stewart is their best offensive player. 6.8 a carry this year in his second season. Has nice receiving numbers as well and has 6 total TDs.
