Not sure he gets anything until age 55, but he should be close to $87,500/year at that point. He played 7 years.

That makes firings that much more messy and tedious and what G5 schools actually HAVE contracts for their top 2 assistants?

Is there any reason we can't up the buyout significantly? Not to ULL levels, which would be stupid, but more than 520K?

The buyouts listed by USA Today are the amounts owed to the coaches if they are fired without cause. That's not the same as the buyouts that would be owed the schools if the coaches are hired away.
