Where is Baby thrown in at?
O Tech, thy halls so beautiful,
Thy pleasant walks, thy noble trees,
That charmed me in my college days,
Are ever dear to me.
Chorus
Louisiana Tech I love thee,
My Alma Mater, my Alma Mater;
I will ever loyal be
To thee, my Alma Mater.
Those old Tech days, those joyful days,
So cherished in my memory,
Though days of toil, in many ways
Were happy days and free.
Before our beloved "ever loyal be" line
Is that the lamest school pride term? "Ever loyalbe!"
As many times as I have sung along with the Alma Mater at games I really can't remember hearing the Bay-Be. I'm sure my artillery ears have something to do with it. I sing along both before the kick-off and after the game. I can never mesh my rhythm/tune exactly with the BOP at the start of the chorus anyway.
I don't like it one dad gum bit I tell ya. These kids these days ain't got no rais'n. That dang rock n roll music and that feller Elvis done corrupted their minds.
