HCSH didn't have the ball in the 2nd half. We couldn't get their offense off the field.

Yes, Tech woulda coulda shoulda pulled that one out. But it wasn't a WTF game.
LA Tech was a heavy favorite to beat ODU that day. So, yeah.........the ODU game was another WTF game.

It sucks and Tech shoulda won. But it wasn't a bad loss.

NWST and Tulane were bad losses.
Our loss to ODU was much worse than our loss to Tulane. First, Tulane wasn't making the NCAA divisional jump from FCS to FBS the way ODU was (I guess you forgot that part). Tulane was a long time member of CUSA with FBS recruits. Those were almost exclusively "FCS recruits" from ODU that beat us that day in Norfolk.

Secondly, Tech was a really bad football team in 2013, the same year we lost to Tulane. When Tech lost to ODU in 2014, Tech was CUSA's West Division champion. Win that game at ODU, and the Conference USA championship game is played 2 weeks later in Ruston instead of Huntington, WVA. It could have changed everything.

But once again, Tech couldn't close the deal, even as a heavy favorite. So we were all left saying "WTF"?

C967 must be early celebrating that marijuana ordinance passing in Arkansas if he thinks the Tulane loss was worse.

Yeah, I remember. HCSH kept trying to run up the middle where they had 10 guys waiting. We went 3 and out like 8 times.
