Thanks for the update! Sounds like we have a solid team. Hopefully, those freshmen will grow up quick, as well. We will need them this year.
I'm pretty psyched about Sherman. He's a completely different player than any I've seen at Tech in the last 5 years. In the first 68 seconds he had all 5 of our points, hit a 3, an inside shot, and had two fouls and was out of the game for a while. McCree looked like himself. Q looked solid. Boykins shot 3s, as usual. Freshmen looked like freshmen, as someone else said.
I didn't leave the game feeling like we were a conference championship contender. It looked like a bunch of mini 1 v. 1's instead of a team game. We didn't have much success driving to the basket against a team we should have demolished. That's about the extent of my basketball knowledge.
Still pumped for the season, though. I'm not expecting a win @ South Carolina, but it's probably not out of the question.
Those days blow by. I know you know it, but savor every moment.
I'm hoping by the time my two sons are done playing that my grandson is suiting up.
It's time to close the doors to the Temple of Janus.
