Jaylon is the best defensive lineman I've seen for the Dawgs since I've been following Tech (late 90s). I'm glad the stats are starting to show his dominance. If you've watched him this year, he alters the offensive line on almost every play he's involved in. He has the speed and strength to ruin plays routinely. I think I haven't seen us with an edge pass rusher in forever either. I don't mind repeating it though. I think he's better than Smith, Butler, Broha, Bates, IK, and Dora.

He's only a sophomore! Unbelievable talent.

I had to check it out. He looks to be the best since Walter Johnson. You guys will have to fill me in on Johnson. It also looks like Ferguson has 16 career sacks which puts him inside the top five all time on Tech's career sack list I believe.

Since he's a RS-Soph, anyone worry he may declare for the draft?

I don't think so! He witnessed it firsthand with VButler who came back for his senior year and got selected in the first round. Declare early won't give him the opportunity to get the 1st round money.

Since Broha?

Broha was held so much, his jersey was three times larger by the end of the game.

As much as I like(d) Broha and Bates, and they were awesome warriors who can play on my team any day, they were just a half a step slower than a great speed rusher. Watch the video on Walter Johnson, that closing speed is incredible for a DE. No escape, and even if the QB managed to, Johnson would chase 'em down!
