How do you all feel about us not postponing it for two additional weeks so we can possibly play home conference championship game?
It would be at least three weeks. Next week is a bye, then USM, then the champeenship.
Much as I hate it, I think we have to go with the plan and play in Shreveport if we're in the Championship and get to host.
We need to start looking at plans to bus our students to Shreveport.
How does the championship game fall out with quarter break?
Winter Quarter classes begin Wednesday 11/30, and the C-USA championship game is 3 days later...on Saturday, Dec 3.
Did we schedule an away game against a horrible opponent on that date?
Oh, I see it's at home instead. #323 SE Louisiana.
Tight construction window already. If we want it completed for Northwestern State game next year, we have to start ASAP!

So...we were so sure we wouldn't be hosting the conference championship game we scheduled this work. Hmmm..... lots of confidence shown toward the 2016 Dawgs, eh.
No, You simply do not leave construction up to chance. There could be long delays in the spring due to storms for all we know. They need to get it done.
We aren't building in Lafayette. Our press box is well above the flood line. No worries.
