    Interesting, if true. We'll see.
There are plenty of RINOs who would not vote for him. That was a given day one...as I said, it is a distraction pick and they did Gaetz a favor by giving him an excuse to resign rather than forcing him to resign with the cooked up scandle(s) he has been accused of.

Gaetz is out. AND don't ya just love the hypocrisy! The Dems saying, "the AG should be a neutral party, not beholden to either party." You mean like Merick Garland who picked and chose to persecute conservatives while refusing to even reply when asked why his department refused to prosecute Hunter Biden, among other democrap criminals.

Dems are boldly ridiculous. They will drive trucks across your lawn, and then turn around and say, "no one should ever drive across someone's lawn." And they can do that with a straight face and not see their own hypocrisy. It's like they say, "What?"

Pam Bondi for AG!! Great pick!

Stupid MSNBC commies went hysterically ballistic on this announcement. One moron said "Oh, no! Bondi will be much worse than Gaetz...she is smart and competent." Wow, imagine be alarmed that a cabinet member is "smart and competent." Of course, this is opposed to what the dems do, appoint stupid and incompetent idiots to such positions.

As many posters are saying on various blogs, "If MSNBC is against it, then Bondi's appointment will be great for America."

On a related subject, two more of Trump's nominees are said to have been engaged in some kind of sexual misconduct. The details don't matter, neither does whether the allegations are true or not. Typical BS from the Left, drum up anything from the past and throw it against the wall to see if it sticks.

Okay, let's look at it this way. One would think if it were true a Trump nominee had something in their past of a "sexual misconduct" nature that would be a plus for the Left. The Left is all about immoral behavior, free sex with no consequences. They are anti-religion, anti-morals, against family values. So! a Republican guilty of such behavior is more in line with them. That should be MORE reason to confirm a Trump nominee as far as they are concerned.

I'm not confident that Bondi moves the needle in any significant way. Wasn't she the one who appointed special prosecution against George Zimmerman?

I guess we just have to trust Trump. Nothing matters except immigration. If we don't keep the nation and stop being beholden to foreign powers none of this other stuff will make a difference.

    Re: President Trump

Three American hostages released by China, after being held for years. Stupid Biden is trying to take credit for it. If Biden had such influence China would have released them years ago. We all know why China released the hostages now.

In a big change President Z announced he'd be willing to exchange territory to end the war, provided NATO membership was in the offing as part of the deal. Of course, Putin balked at that idea...at first. Then remembering who was coming into office in January, changed his tune. Putin referred to the Biden/Harris administration as "stalk-raving lunatics" and added he was willing to work a deal, brokered by President Trump since he is not responsible for what those lunatics have done. Putin also praised Trump for surviving the assassination attempts and the lawfare incidents. Putin added, there is something wrong with the American political system when such a thing can happen. Putin is just trying to save face. He knows he is losing the war, and there is growing unrest among the Russian people. He's trying to play this like this war was Biden's fault, and with Biden removed from the picture, now a deal can be done. Bullshit! But, heck, whatever it takes to bring this madness to an end...let's get it done.

My Gosh! it is so great to have an adult in charge again.

    THE TRUMP EFFECT!!!

Confidence in a viable future has returned. The whole world is feeling so much better, more optimistic now that the US again has a real POTUS. In the world of the economy, finance, optimism is busting at the seams. The stock market is rocking, but other economic indicators are also shining. Here are two, seemingly unrelated factors, but both point in one direction re: the US economy...UP!

    1) Prior to the election, early November, long-range prospects for seasonal hiring was trending to the SECOND WORST year this century, that's 24 years, and includes the 2001 9/11 crisis and the even worse 2007 and 2008 mortgage crisis. But, Trump won and now the prospects for seasonal hiring has exploded.

    2) The art world has also seen a resurgence. The annual art auction, taking place in Miami this year, is seeing 4-year highs in sales. Asked why this is happening, the director of the auction said, "Everyone is feeling good, feeling confident in "investing" in fine art again." He did not credit "the Trump effect" for this, but Come on, man! of course it is. Even wacky art collectors are feeling good about their financial future.

2025 is gonna be a great year!

Speaking of which, I was speaking with some bank presidents at a recent Christmas party gathering, and they all said the same things, they are looking forward to great things. One thing Trump needs to do, something he did NOT do enough of in his first term, is to roll back many (most) of those stupid bank regulations placed on banking by Barry obummer, and added on to by Biden. Trump did remove some of the banking regulations back in 2017, but he did go far enough. Now he inherits an even worse banking environment thanks to Biden. YES, we need some banking regulations, else they will go nuts again like they did beginning in 2003 causing the crisis of 2007-08. But, most of the regulations are simply stupid.

Anyway, 2025 is gonna be a great year! Optimism is booming. I will go as far as to predict Tech football will make a bowl game in 2025. How's that for optimism!
