Some poll numbers recently, like maybe today, show 57% think race relations have gotten worse under Trump. obummer's high water mark in that metric was 37%. The numbers were quoted on FOX by an anchor, and no source cited, or if she did, I missed it. I suppose our liberal-leaning friends (who until recently I might have referred to as "libtards") will say....you saw that on FOX? Must mean the real number is above 90%.
It all stems from his rhetoric, not his actions. I won't list his accomplishments, because most of us here know them....even those reluctant to give him credit. It's his tweeting and his mouth. And while he is right....or at least, not wrong...on some of the issues, it's a losing proposition to even "go there." The lamestream media and the popular entertainment culture, which includes Jimmy Kimmel and that bunch....BRING BACK JAY LENO!!…. have the ear of many people, and they spin anything Trump says into a racist comment, even when it isn't. This reflects in those recent poll numbers.
And, BTW, I am taking the numbers in that poll at face value. I don't even know the source.
Yep. Trump has been his own worst enemy his entire time in office. Perhaps he’s just maintaining election mode until 2020. Who knows? The only thing his mouth may have accomplished is keeping the DNC in stupor it’s been in since 10/2016.
He has accomplished more than any of your RINO guys would have dared to even attempt. Islam (ISIL) is more important to RINOs than Israel. Actually, Islam (ISIL) is more important to most American Jews than Israel.

I hope they're successful. If we can maintain control of the house in November, 2020 should be a breeze. Antifa idiots bringing violence to otherwise peaceful demonstrations will only help the conservative cause, as well as bring about quite a few ass whippings.

Republicans used to take the moral ground. Now that they have virtually ceded the moral side to the liberals, they argue legalisms. White Nationalists may have free speech under the law, but what they say should be repudatied. Both can be true. By the way, Trump has no problem repudiating speech and name calling when people speak out against them. Directly and timely repudiating hate speech directly is low hanging fruit...except for the fact that White Nationalists are part of his base.
