Given that it is already unpopular, using a national emergency to try to fund a wall will necessarily be even less popular as the principled Republican supporters of the wall will not be happy about the unconstitutional executive power grab.
    BS!

    - Most voters agree with Trump that border security is a vital national security interest for the United States and rate it as big a concern as North Korea, a country which has threatened us with nuclear attack

Most voters rate border control as a national security concern on the level with North Korea and want to secure the border before dealing with the illegal immigrants who are already here.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 59% of Likely U.S. Voters think border security is a vital national security interest for the United States these days. Thirty-three percent (33%) disagree. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
(Want a free daily e-mail update? If it's in the news, it's in our polls). Rasmussen Reports updates are also available on Twitter or Facebook.
The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on February 7 and 10, 2019 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.

    Re: President Trump

First of all - Rasmussen, lol

Second of all - that doesn’t even say Americans support a wall (they support “border security”) and doesn’t say they support use of the NEA to achieve it. The Pew Research poll is specific on that.

    So, try again.

    Re: President Trump

The lying libs tried to push this one over...and of course the gullible ones, like our own Goosey, fell for it...they insist that "90% of illegal drugs come thru ports of entry." WRONG!!!!!

    Truth:

90% of illegal drugs seized at the southern border are done so at ports of entry...where we have walls/barriers/agents/German Shepherds.

Less than 5% of drugs crossing the border in sectors without a wall are interdicted. And that usually by sheer luck when illegals are caught and have drugs with them. This means that almost ALL of the drugs...heroin, opioids, that Fen....stuff...reaching the streets of America enter across the unprotected border.

72,000 Americans die each year from these illegal drugs. IF we are to believe that ALL such drugs enter via a guarded checkpoint, and that 90% of it is seized, how is it then that so much is getting through?

Of course, ONLY a goofy lib would think these drug cartels would risk their valuable shipments by PURPOSELY subjecting them to inspections at guarded entries. Can ya imagine...

"Hey, Pedro! let's take our ton of heroin across country and enter the US where there is no barrier, no DEA agents, and none of those pesky German dogs, who sniff out everything."

"Ah, no, Jose, why cross an unprotected portion of the border when we can risk everything?"

"Good point, Pedro. And Si! the American Lefties say we're supposed to voluntarily try to use a guarded point of entry. We'd be fools to want to actually get away with this!"

"Hah! Jose you are so correcto mundo!"

And Goosey and the rest of the Left actually expect us to believe this...

Here's the REAL TRUTH! Pelosi and other Dems are on the take from the Mexican Drug Cartels...hell! they are armed with automatic weapons given to them by obummer/Holder...they pay off the Dems to the tune of $tens of millions, and simply drive across the unprotected border. PERIOD!

Wow you can't make this stuff up...

Leading LBGT magazine comes out against Trump plan to fight for global decriminalization of homosexuality.
    quote:

It actually argues that it's racist and colonialist for Trump to put pressure on Iran to decriminalize homosexuality and that Iran is actually 'not that bad' when it comes to homosexuality anyway.

Iran hangs or throws gays off roof tops, yet it is "not that bad" lol. This says one of two things if this becomes the talking point:

    1. Gays are democrats first, gay second. or 2. If they decriminalize it, then it takes away their "victim" card. They would prefer to be victims than equals.

    Re: President Trump

If you guys aren't up on this story, there was a teenager from Hoover AL, who in 2015 left the US to travel to Syria and join ISIS. She has been married 3 times now and has a 18 month child by one of the ISIS terrorist. She now wants to come back to the U.S. She says that her decision was a terrible one and regrets it. While she was there she called for attacks on US citizens, at gatherings, memorial day celebrations, malls, etc. She was born here in the US but her father was a diplomat from Yemen.

Sec of State Mike Pompeo says she has no legal status in US. Children of diplomats born in US are not automatically granted US citizenship. Her status is in question because at the time of her birth, her father was no longer employed as a diplomat for Yemen. Either way she is done IMO. Citizen or not, you leave US to fight for a terrorist organization and incite attacks against US citizens and US interests, then you forfeit your citizenship.

So I looked up the article and it doesn’t remotely suggest that Iran isn’t bad when it comes to treatment of homosexuals. Instead the criticism is that this is a PR stunt that won’t work and is typical of Trump’s past efforts to turn crimes against gays into Anti-Muslim currency (Pulse nightclub).

Really do you know something I don't? Am I going to join ISIS?

I assume you think this girl should come back to US and just go on about her life as if she took a long vacation to Europe or something?

    Ignore JuBru...just another useless lib.

That goofy woman should not be allowed back in the US...of course she could go to Mexico and then just walk across the wide-open border.

No, I don't think she should be allowed in the U.S. if she isn't a citizen unless it is to visit Guantanamo. If it is proven she is a citizen, a quick trip to ADX Florence would suffice. Either way, prison for whatever length of time is allowed by law.
