A lot of pundits...from both sides of aisle...are saying Trump scored some points with the SOTU address. He did. But, with his mouth and Tweets, and 2 years to go, he'll undo whatever good he did.

I believe that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a gift from God to America. She's single handedly setting up a Republican landslide victory in 2020. She's saying such stupid things now that it's almost as if she were a Republican plant into the Democrat Party (except that the Republican Party could never pull anything like that off without botching it). I can only imagine how hard the Democrat establishment is trying to figure out what to do with her and her idiotic minions. I sure hope that OAC will be old enough to run for the Democrat nomination in 2024.
Here's the big question: can a Dem candidate for POTUS 2020 run to the right of AOC and win their nomination?
Well, let me clarify. It is virtually impossible to be to the left of her, so by default candidates have to either mimic her rhetoric, embrace her commie policies OR establish their own agenda which is less extreme. I think whoever ends up getting the Dem nomination will have distanced themselves from AOC's extreme agenda. BUT! they'll have to do that diplomatically so as not to shut out the extremists who think she's smart.
Going back to the whole populism discussion, AOC is indeed an asset to the USA. She's a frickin' missile aimed at the heart of the Dem Party! She can single-handedly disrupt (do I dare say destroy?) the Dem Party. Trump has done that to the GOP...mostly. I hope and pray the lamestream media adopt AOC as their little commie darling...Chris Mathews can get chills running down his leg...Rachel Madcow will make a lesbian move on her...Joy Behar proclaims her the smartest woman in America...
Unfortunately the GOP still can't organize a good Bar-B-Cue so they won't be able to take advantage of this "gift that keeps on giving."

I've never thought of that before, but that does make a lot of sense. How can you be so stupid, I mean like stupid on a level I can't even comprehend, and get elected to Congress? It's almost like that has to be true.
The only difference in her lack of substance and Obama's is that Obama is a better communicator. Most of us can see though his BS, but those who hate conservatism and those who lack reasoning skills vote socialist/democrat.
She is tapping into the populist waves the new right has been compounding when they abandoned principle and reason for fear and emotion politicking.
Trump is a super nice guy. He gave Beto waaaay too much credit. Said, Beto had maybe 200-300 people at his rally. Wrong, Mr. President. More like 20-30.
Also, there was an altercation at the rally last night...well several loud-mouth commies were shown the door...but the scuffle was a supporter got into a shoving match with a BBC cameraman. That supporter was shown the door and the BBC released a statement today thanking President Trump for his security's quick, and proper, reaction in diffusing the incident.
If you watched the rally...live...like I did, you saw Trump's reaction when it happened. The President paused in his speech, pointed to some of his staff/security and motioned for them to go up to the media platform. Then you saw our President asking, "Is he okay?" Someone must have replied "Yes." Because President Trump nodded and said "That's good." Of course the commie media is trying to paint a different picture.
Once again, his speech at the rally....a total crowd of 35,000 present...was the same as his SOTU address re: the issues. I hope and pray that enough Americans will reject the evil left and support our gallant President in 2020 and also give the goofy GOP another chance by restoring the House to "good." All I can do is cast my one vote and try to influence others to join me.
When will you liberals learn that pure hatred, lying, being the party of killing babies and racists rants, and the party of no and zero good ideas won't win the 2020 elections?

President Trump isn’t getting tired of winning.
New polling reveals the current president is more popular than his predecessor at the same point of their presidencies.
Rasmussen reports:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove. …
The latest figures include 39% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 39% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of 0.
Trump’s 52 percent approval rating is four points higher than Obama’s at the same point in his first term.
In a Gallup poll taken February 7-13, 2011, Obama had the approval of 48 percent of Americans. Forty three percent disapproved of the job Obama was doing.
Rasmussen notes, “Trump’s highest level of approval since shortly after his inauguration.”
