News alert!!! Somebody just hacked into Trump's twitter account.
"All roads lead to Putin" -- Thomas Jefferson
Trump’s latest comments on General McRaven are unfortunate. Our president is an embarrassment.
Trump Issues Pardons:
President Trump on Tuesday joked about his recent court battles and election troubles ahead of pardoning the National Thanksgiving Turkey.
Speaking at the White House, Trump warned the two turkeys, “Peas” and “Carrots,” that though they were receiving pardons, a federal court could always block them.
“Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee that your pardons won’t be enjoined by the Ninth Circuit,” Trump said to the turkeys. “Always happens. They guarantee it.”
The president also joked about election recounts, as the turkey that received the official pardon was decided by a vote conducted on the White House website.
“This was a fair election,” Trump said. “But Carrots refused to concede and demanded a recount and we’re still fighting with Carrots.”
Trump also told Peas and Carrots that House Democrats “are likely to issue them both subpoenas.”
That was funny right there.. don't care who you are...
POTUS today in his call and press conference: turned from a good gesture to something disgusting. I can’t believe this is happening in America.
Trump’s effort to regulate GM because of their management decisions is soooo....what is the word I am looking for...socialist?
GM has closed the obummer plants because it was a stupid idea in the first place.
Trump needs to curtail his rhetoric on this. GM is a private corporation and can do what it wants. Now, if Trump (the US guvmint) has been providing supplements, and were doing so to shore-up that stupid electric car thingy, then yeah, GM shouldn't expect anymore such support. Of course, I haven't heard GM complaining about losing that support. So...
GM knows (and knew all along) that obummer's silly electric car would never make it. And while all 15,000 displaced workers will be offered other jobs within GM, it's not practical for many of them to accept them. Unfortunately, some will end up drawing unemployment for awhile. But at least the overall economy is booming and they will be able to find something else.
I could land any of about 20 jobs across the nation, if I really wanted to. In fact, a headhunter I signed up with 3 years ago is blowing up my email/text messages trying to get me to seek positions. In case you didn't know, headhunters are paid by the employers when they fill a vacancy. Point is, there are plenty of jobs out there, but in most cases, you have to be willing to relocate to land that "perfect" position.
