Dang! a soon-to-be former friend Vickey L. has been on an anti-Trump, anti-GOP, and yes, anti-American rant on a local blog. Thought I knew her...after 25 years...but guess I don't. Such venom! And all rooted in misinformation from the lamestream media spin. Wow! Oh well, one less at the huge celebration when this mess ends. So sad.

That’s not the way it works. If it works that way none of us have a chance

You can’t come to Christ without a clear knowledge of the seriousness of your sin. Public Trump has never acknowledged anything close to biblical repentance.
That was almost 4 years ago while running for office; and God doesn't demand Trump come on TV and tell you or the country he has asked forgiveness. That's between Trump and the Lord.

Who said that? It’s IMPOSSIBLE to keep a “list” of sins according to man. Based on this process Grace means nothing.

It’s not about keeping a list, it’s about not being sure you have anything to apologize about...and if you do, it’s probably not that bad. You can’t, with a straight face, say his statements are those of someone who has even an elementary understanding of the Gospel.

Again,"That was almost 4 years ago while running for office; and God doesn't demand Trump come on TV and tell you or the country he has asked forgiveness. That's between Trump and the Lord." The one thief on the cross was saved in mere seconds by his deathbed statement of faith and believing. A lot has happened in Trump's life since and there are a lot of good people he has potentially "seen the light and come to salvation" via their lives, statements, presence and the Holy Spirit's influence/moving.

As Pawdawg basically said above, praise the Lord for grace and mercy!

Post-turtle Trump yesterday mocked Cuomo’s claim of need for more ventilators. Now today he is adamantly tweeting at Ford and GM demanding that they make ventilators. Can you invoke the Defense Production Act via tweet?

You can’t make this stuff up.

Too bad NYC officials didn't take it seriously sooner.

Same goes for New Orleans. Allowing Mardi Gras to proceed was a major mistake.

Can’t expect cities or even businesses to make the right calls for the overall public good, even though many have. The decisions they make impact other communities and vice versa. That is why we need a total federal response. Otherwise any state or city is really powerless to protect its citizens.

Trump just explained the circumstances involving GM....he handled it properly.

BTW anyone see the CEO of Ford interviewed the other day? He said Ford stepped up during WWII to build military equipment needed by the US. "We built the B-52 bomber" he said. The B-52? Wow! little wonder we whipped the Germans and the Japs!!

Actually, Ford built the B-24 Bomber, The Liberator. Good airplane but nowhere near as powerful as the B-52.

Even the governors can’t really solve the problem because people are free to cross state lines and if your neighboring state isn’t taking the same action it’s spread comes over and frustrates your effort. You make the sacrifice but don’t get the benefit.

Wow! thought I was tough with wanting a wall on our southern border...you want to stop interstate travel!
