pesky facts. Wonder if Durbin helped fund any of that.
There's lots of shithole countries in Africa like Sudan, Somalia, Uganda, Ethiopia, and the Congo, just to name a few, that are run by shitheads. Trump didn't call anybody a shithole, he said their countries were shitholes, according to one democrat. Africa has as many resources as the United States, why do you think they're still living like they're in the stone age? Could it it be because of their leadership? Why do they continue to kill each other? Their governments are run by terrorists. I talked to a guy about a year ago that has a waterwell company and he goes to Africa to install manual water pumps so they can have clean water. Most of them get their water out of a mudhole or a dirty river. The Chinese are gradually taking over as they have built railroads deep into central Africa, so they can bring out minerals and oil and gas, and they'll deal with the thugs if they get in their way and it won't be by bribing them like it's been done in the past.
He'll likely get my vote in 2020 after I voted third party in 2016. I think lots of citizens see how the oligarchy of the press, radical anarchical democrats (that's a redundancy), and deep staters are trying to pull a coup and override our constitutionally elected president. Not in his base but a future Trump voter here.
Global Splash, Inc. has made contact with government officials in Tanzania, and Kenya too, about our water treatment system. At this point we're not in a financial position to accommodate their conditions. I have to say, though, on the surface they have been transparent and above the table. There is a Charlotte-based company that has a contract to build 5,000 houses (in Tanzania) with their patented lightweight concrete panel technology. Of course those new developments will need infrastructure including water and sewerage, and that is what GSI does. We shall see if we can eventually get into that market.
Yes, the Chicoms are being very aggressive with their in-roads into Africa. They don't mind hiring mercenaries to keep the bad guys at bay.
Is it fair to ask: why hasn't sub-Sahara Africa ever, totally on its own, ever developed an advanced society? If someone has an answer, or a counter to this contention, please post it.
The Zulus were a successful tribe, very warlike. But, they never advanced beyond the basics of being a primitive people. And, even their warrior prowess is, ahem, questionable in comparison to European nations. The Zulus won one battle vs. the British at Isandlwana when 20,000 Zulus launched a surprise attack on a British camp, manned by 1,700 soldiers. It was a Zulu victory, by any measure. But, the Zulus lost 4,000 warriors to the British's 1,300. The next day, a young Zulu chieftain wanting to make a name for himself, took his 3,000 warriors and attacked the outpost at Rorke's Drift, manned by 140 British soldiers. He got his butt kicked. A couple of weeks later, the British regrouped and with a force of 8,000 hunted down and destroyed that large Zulu Army, which by then had received reinforcements and swelled to 35,000.
The political intrigue of the "Zulu War" is interesting. Seems a British "state department" official, the Foreign Ministry, a Sir Bartle Frere, was charged with uniting the separate, often fighting, colonies of South Africa into a one coherent British colony (1878). The British-held territory bordered Zululand. Wanting a strong British military presence, in South Africa, he baited the Zulus into a war by issuing an ultimatum he knew they would not agree to. When the Zulus "mobilized" their large army and moved toward the border, Frere sent an urgent message to Queen Victoria he feared they would invade British colonies. The queen sent a British force, under Lord Chelmsford, to reinforce the garrisons already there. Frere continued his political mischief with false reports he showed Chelmsford, who then decided the Zulus needed to be defeated before they could muster even more warriors. The British crossed the border into Zululand, over a bridge at Rorke's Drift. The Zulus were just defending their homeland. But, they were no match for a modern army.
Interestingly, when high officials in the British government learned the truth, Queen Victoria, and her advisors decided it would be too embarrassing for the world to learn said truth, so they covered it up. Frere was merely reassigned to another position in the Foreign Ministry.
Dem Dick Durbin is the one lying per others in the room.

MLK's Niece Says It's 'Outrageous' That Critics 'Unjustly' Call Trump Racist

Trump did or the Trump Foundation, which is funded by other people?
The Klintons, via their foundation, enriched themselves in Haiti. If anything positive was done for the Haitian people, it was a just a happy side-effect. But it was not the goal of the Klintons. In fact, if you have seen many, many comments from Haitians, they despise the Klintons.
