So now we know unequivocally why Trump was the only president in modern history not to turn over his tax returns. Turns out he is just a huge fraud! Big surprise there!
Blah, blah, blah...
can you say the Reverend Al Sharpton, Congressman Barney Frank, etc....
I’m not sure Trump knows how to get out of his own way. His comments at the rally in Mississippi can only hurt Kavanaugh, not help him. Surely a speech writer didn’t approve of that? One day he says that her testimony is “compelling and credible” (it wasn’t), and a couple days later this.
Not a big deal at all, but the democrats and RINOs got their feelings hurt. They say he was "mocking" her. He just repeated her testimony. His "compelling and credible" statement was a CYA up front. He does this often with things he knows he will come back to later. This is what drives the media nuts.
It has gotten to the point that nothing Trump says, or Tweets, surprises me or upsets me....personally. It just glances off like an RPG fired at the front armor of a Tiger Tank. Klank!
But! as it might affect others, public opinion, and some fence-sitting voters, I cringe. I ask, why? Why President Trump say (or Tweet) such things? What does it help?
What he says doesn’t bother me, but it gives free ammo to his opponents. I was not pro Trump in the beginning, I was probably closer to the Never Trump Camp, but he has somewhat won me over. If he would just keep his mouth shut and his fingers off his phone, he would be unbeatable in 2020.
Another one bites the dust?
