On this we actually agree, for that is exactly what we're doing. It's what we've been doing for the last 50 years, and one day the world financial system is going come crashing down because of it. Entitlement spending is totally out of control everywhere, and there doesn't seem to be any way to stop the financial train wreck that is coming. Smart people are diversified in their investments enough that at least some of their wealth will survive the coming financial crash. Others will lose everything. I advise people to always be prepared for hard times. The peace of mind one gets from knowing he's somewhat prepared is worth the investment. If the hard times don't come in one's lifetime, that's a good thing, but rest assured, a day of reckoning cometh.

I don’t think I was saying wage growth causes genocide. The point was that no one, after the fact, talks about a positive thing that someone did when it is grossly outweighed by the horrible things he did.

My guess is that we, as humans, try to categorize people according to our feelings as either all good or all evil....much like your tribal obsession with Trump.
