UTEP had just beaten Middle Tennessee and just beat USM by like 30. While we probably should have beaten them by 5 rather than 1, I'll take the win. I dont see it ad any indication of doing worse against Rice. I'd worry about any game, we could always slip up. But I'd hope we win the next 5.

I can see us winning the final five. Would give the team great confidence going to the CUSA tourney on a 9 game winning streak. Then win that tournament and head to the BIG DANCE breaking the 25 year drought!

We did, entered the tournament in Spring of 1991, while we would enter the tournament in Spring of 2017 this year. 2017-1991=26.

I guess it is now you count it, by my calculations we only missed 25 tournaments. We haven't missed yet tis year.

I never really thought about how this was calculated but the Cubs were thought to have broken a 108 year streak this year last winning in 1908. The would have only not won 107 World Series (if one had been played each year), but the draught was credited as 108 years. Either way we can end the streak this season.
