    Re: Ryan Higgins

I've posted it a thousand times- it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING what a Graduate or Sr-Redshirt QB can do when he knows THIS IS HIS FINAL COLLEGE SEASON EVER. Higgins was not the first LA Tech QB to EXPLODE his final season.

For people to dog Higgins repeatedly on BB&B the first half of the season was just plain ignorant on their part. They eventually caught on though.

I wasn't one who of those, but I don't recall anybody dogging him after the first 4 games. UTEP wasn't a great game for him either, but I understood why people were still upset after Middle. He blew up after that 1/3 of the season.

    Re: Ryan Higgins

Did anybody else witness Ryan's great "run down" of that UTSA dude last night...and think, "I just witnessed Ryan Higgins' experience at Louisiana Tech, encapsulated in ONE PLAY?"

Really a metaphoric moment...chasing a dream, overcoming mistakes, never quitting, and finally ACHIEVING THE GOAL.

I think I just choked myself up a little bit. Good...no...GREAT JOB, RYAN HIGGINS! ---- and HOW BOUT THAT DAWG?!

Several of us were yelling, 'Get him Ryan!' Yeah, we knew they had been offside and the whole play was coming back, but watching Ryan chase that guy down was...well....inspiring.

That was truly an exceptional effort by Ryan. I think that singular play will cement Ryan in my memory. Again, way to go.

. I have been wrong so many times that being ok on this is great because it's great for all BBB. If you read my post I just felt Coach H - Todd and Tim spent so much time with qbs they would do right thing. Also, almost everyone on that thread backed Coach and Ryan. ( I thought Scotty Young would be awesome-- what a head case). I definetly think we have a great QB for the future--

Hey-- one thing coach said after game -- Ryan dealing with pulled hamstring and missed a fair amount of practice. Makes the play even more impressive.

The bye week will help a lot of guys ( Carlos etc)

Anybody know why USM has fallen apart?

Someone with video and IT skills should send the replay to the MNF crew for their "C'mon Man" segment.

Indeed. That rundown was a great play, and got one of the biggest cheers of the day from Dawg fans.

And yes, Skip Holtz outsmarted us all this year when he stuck with Higgins.

Where does he sit in all time "one season" rankings?
