I am really excited about the new Press Box! Any word on when the demolition starts on the existing one? Any ideas if they will provide photos or a live feed?

They need to film the demolition process and provide it to ESPN for the Conference Championship game so it can be discussed why we are not at our home field.

Demo was said to be starting yesterday. Seems like we'd have seen something if it did.

I would imagine it will be a few days to get all the furniture, electronics (video board equipment, audio, ect..) and things like that out before they start the demo.

Probably won't be that exciting, they won't blow it up. I imagine they'll have some sort of machine with a high reach arm picking away at it. Going to be interesting how they work around the grandstand.

With Facebook live, I imagine someone will broadcast it.

Hopefully they knew about the asbestos and the extra time was part of the of the original schedule.

A group of us was told that the demo would begin yesterday. Since wrecking and removing asbestos is part of the process, I'm sure it did begin when they said it would.

I know they have to be careful and that will take time. But the structure isn't very big, so we should be able to watch the new addition going up very soon. Will be fun to watch he progress from week to week when we go to bball games.

Carruthers and Nielsen were history? I lived there. It didn't seem historical at the time.
