How was the coordination at the Armed Forces Bowl with two bands and video board? Just wondering how they ran things at TCU vs our stadium.
Are we excavating a ramp beside the west/home stands down to the north end zone? There's something going on there. Guess it could be only what we need to do to do run new lines to the video board.
I'm no architect, but this is what I would sorta like to see. Of course, I think we could incorporate like concessions/sport shop/first aid area in the built into the the underbelly of the NEZ. I assume this would put us around 27-28k. If we need to expand beyond this, we could build new sections where the wings once were.
I think in another 3-4 years we should update our videoboard (doubling its size and using better LEDs panels).

It'll look like this far away from the 16th floor.

Good Job, QNG!
Just to follow-up on this post, this is the photoshop qng001 posted here a while back. I have heard something like this has been discussed. I have not heard a NEZ project discussed.

That's exactly what I was imagining! That really gives the stadium a classic college stadium look.
Looking at that picture, it makes me realize some more ideas. Like you said there definitely needs to be something under the NEZ and possibly in front of it. The grassy area is begging for something. I like Champion110's idea of some wraparound pedestrian structure.
Additionally adding more brick to the inside of the stadium would help to incorporate the SEZ into the stadium. As much as I don't like its placement and design, it's there for good as part of the stadium and should fit the style of it more. Brick up the blue walls to match the brick walls of the SEZ.
For me regarding the underbelly, covering it with a brick facade doesn't add value. We need to build better concessions, restrooms, general facilities for gameday stuff amd integrate it with the overall facade.
Went to the Arkansas game, they make a killing on concessions. We do not see it as a major revenue generator. We see it as a necessary thing to have but it's not something we make sure it's managed well.
Agreed. To me, it should be done after the NEZ is bowled in with how I laid out my plan earlier:
But you're right, maybe redoing the concessions could be a great revenue stream to help fund the other parts of construction. Maybe I ought to put it as number 1.
