I got a chance to go by the stadium today and wow, the new press box looks fantastic. It has totally changed the look of JAS. Once we remove those remaining bleacher seats and bowl in the north end zone, our stadium will really have a big time look about it.
Bowling in the NEZ would be awesome.
But, JAS has other priorities needing addressing first. Like a bricked-in wall instead of the chain-linked fence and other "under the stadium" improvements. All in good time...

I've thought we needed a bricked-in wall in the past, but now I'm not so sure. That pictures is YEARS old. There's now brick columns with cast iron fencing. Shows how long its been since you've been to Ruston
I don't think we should spend $ just to brick something in. I think if we have brick, it needs to be a part of something - new concessions, restrooms, team shop etc.
Last time I was in Aillet was the last regular season game last year. I don't remember who we played...and obviously forgot what JAS looks like now.
I'm having a flashback.....yep, that's it.
Oh yeah! the big win over UTSA when we scored a cheap TD in the closing seconds to run up the score. I remember now.
We've done the needed facilities upgrades. Now we need to start channeling budget funding to our Mens' basketball schedule. We can win 30 games, but if we're just playing the SWAC Conference and other woeful opponents we will continue to stay at home or have to pay to play in a postseason tournament.
That play was 3 years ago (2014 season). So apparently you really haven't been to JAS in a while.
In 2016, LA Tech handled UTSA easily, 63-35 in Ruston. And the game wasn't THAT close.

Has the rain slowed down the progress or are they starting work on the inside?
