What are "casual fans?" I thought we only wanted alumni and students at the games!
I would like to see the results of offering $10 GA tickets in the 4 corners during a good season. What average attendance would we need to have to justify keeping tickets at those prices?
What kind of ticket offers did we have for our last game against USM last season? I really don't know. I'd imagine USM doesn't offer this level of discount for every game.

The decision maker(s) mind doesn't work the way a normal person's mind works. Greed overcomes logic. They're afraid his seat nazis will not be able to prevent people from moving closer to the 50.
Because they charge too much for the 50 yd line season seats and no one buys them. Well no. At least these seats all look taken except for way high up on the east side and a lot of those are.
We have found folks sitting in our seats in section D multiple times. They don't mind moving. If people ever bought those 50 yard line seats, the nomads would move. It's not a big deal. I have said before, it seems they don't want to offend people who pay more to sit in the chair back seats. I would prefer a packed stadium over anyone caring about my feelings. I'm not a liberal. Sorry, wrong thread.
Let's be honest though, once SoMiss lost to Troy, it became an embarrassment for us to lose to them.

USM should have won, but I'm gonna say that wasn't a 'bad' loss.
After the way they lost to Ark State, I would say yes it was. Troy lost to ArkState at home too (35-3!). SoMiss lost to Troy at home.
Perception wise, it was a huge loss for CUSA, and perception-wise, a loss to SoMiss would be a hit to Louisiana Tech this year. But remember, perception defines embarrassment, not reality.
In reality, Troy was above average and played a good Clemson team that has been playing to the level of its competition all season. SoMiss has been an above average team this season, but not a team we should lose to.
Crazy that game time isn't set yet. I know we have it narrowed to a 2 hour window, but still need to have time to make travel plans
Waiting on result of W Michigan game tomorrow- if they win, they'll be on ESPN at 11am Friday and we'll be on espnu at 4. If they lose- wmu on espnu @ 4 and we are on ESPNEWS at 3
