Ok, at the risk of more red dots, I'm gonna verbalize - "typealize" - my paranoia.

I've Google searched, at least once daily, coaches on the hot seat, coaches on the move, coaching rumors, etc.

As we wrap up this season, I am horrified by the possibility that we may loose another really good head coach. The last three seasons have been a blast to say the least. And now we are looking forward to another bowl game - yes another first in our football history; three consecutive bowl games.

Is there anyone out there that can help me overcome my paranoia? Am I wrapped up over much to do about nothing?

Just wanting someone to stay and make a career, rather than a stepping stone.

Holtz knows what we having coming back next season. I seriously doubt he would pursue a mid-tier P5 offer at this point.

I think THAT's the key; If a mid or low tier P5 school calls, it's one thing. But it would be quite different if an SEC school or other Top 50 school called.

I think if he continues to build and sustain the program, Notre Dame will one day look his way.

We have become a place where good coaches want to be. Regardless of how long they stay. Coach Holtz has been great and I hope he does stay for a long time. We will figure it out when we have to.

. I'm sure that's same attitude S Miss had lat year. Holtz has been Perfect fit for us. We are into fourth year of a plan for our program. So a new coach with new plan has always created issues. We are seen as stepping stone for coaches 3-4 out. Big name coaches coming into CUSA - we have one and hopefully he will stay few more years... it's called stability

. That's right attitude-- Holtz has done great job of building program ( recruits) and steady stream of assistant coaches. When time comes we have a lot to offer -- just hope it's a few more years ...I'm hearing ( which usually turns out to be wrong) that we are ready to do a million contract for few years.... which means nothing against bigger schools

Maybe so but that's more playing worse opponents than us being good at defense, IMO. And we still got thrown all over at times. And those wins won't push us over the hump. Shoulda beat tx tech and mtsu
