Yep, now we know why the lines were so messed up with our game and Houston at Memphis.

I knew (know) we're not as good as many thought and that USM was (is) not as bad as many thought.

The game went spookingly exactly as I thought. As I watched it live it felt like I was watching replay of a game I'd already seen. It boils down to knowing who Skip Holtz is, because it starts at the top. Why would anyone be surprised he lost this game? Had he (we) won that would have been the departure from the norm!!!! Holtz has ALWAYS lost games like this! Yeah, I could research it to find out for sure, but in his entire HC career, dating back to UCONN, I'd say he is 0-fer in these type of games.

So, the real question I, why did anyone think THIS would be the time Holtz would change that? I didn't see any particular reason for the Dawgs winning this game. In fact, all the factors pointed straight to a USM win.

read several predictions and this is their last shot at bowl -- Mullens is hurt but I believe he has Dixon warrior mentality --If any way to step out on field he will .... writers think he would make game closer but no one predicting a USM win-- can we take that or do we still have to play and beat them ??

some folks are saying I changed my pick after the game-- I did not say they would win but did know mullens was a warrior and I was worried....

I worry about every game -- 50 yrs instills that so when I think a game is a "lock" my instincts say " no such thing" -- this is a team that beat Kentucky and been bad for weeks-- lot of seniors - pride etc. closer we get to game the more I stress .
