Other P5 jobs that are either available already or are likely to have openings:
Purdue, LSU, Baylor, Oregon?, Texas Tech?

Ed O. will be hired by LSU. And that surely means Tom Herman is Austin-bound.
This will close two of the biggest questions in this year's coaching carousel.
That's on Alleva for mangling the miles situation. If they end up with coach O it'll be a major blow to their program.
I concur. But I don't believe Louisiana State will stick with Ed O.
Only a two year contract, not much of a show of confidence ....
I also think LSU has major money issues just like every other school in the state, coupled with the fact they have lost one home game for two consecutive years and will lose another one next year due to the UF fiasco induced by them - that's a ton of cash
Kick in the oil and gas issues where most of their big $$$$ come from and they just can't compete even though they think they can

If you think Louisiana State has big $$$$ problems now, just wait until Ed O drives off all the fans from Tiger Stadium. State is 7-4 this year. Just wait until ole Ed has 'em at 6-6 and 5-7 over the next 2 years. This might be the best thing to ever happen to LA Tech.
And we screw it up by losing to USM.
