Yep. I had no idea such animosity existed. I think the whole Bounty Gate affair was a farce. We had another thread that got into the reasons why. But, I figured everyone had moved on by now. I'm guessing, based on what I heard today, that Brees blames Williams and didn't think Payton should have been caught up in the aftermath. Was Williams supposed to fall on his sword and swear Payton had no knowledge of any of it?

Setting aside the weak "evidence" and the fact that other teams have been guilty of the same things, and worse!! I find it interesting that Drew Brees, especially, would harbor such ill-will toward a former coach.

Well, the Rams came in riding a 4-game stretch where they gave up 12.5 points/game and under 250 yards/game. The Saints DESTROYED the Rams' D today!

Maybe Brees and the Saints should pick out someone to hate each week....
