I'm starting to really like Konkol.
I think both MBB and WBB are in good hands. We have a couple of good coaches.
Don't know if anybody noticed, but come to the TAC come Thursday and you'll most likely see the #1 three-point percentage-made shooter in the country.

I've missed very, very few home games over the past 10 years or so; even was there for the entirety of the final rupp debacle, the 30-72 beat down administered by Utah State.
I do miss seeing mw on the sideline in the TAC, tho, and enjoy watching FL on tv or the net.
I do too. Mike White made MBB at Tech exciting and relevant again. I think Konkol has done a good job keeping the program on the right track and is bringing in some really good players. Getting them over the hump into the big dance is the next step, and I believe he will get us there. My only knock on him at this point is the weak scheduling, which we absolutely need to get resolved next season.
The next time Coach Mike White takes a team into the Big Dance....will be the first time he does it. Using a baseball phrase: he has warning track power. He's stuck in the NIT.
Now, he does have UF ranked in the Top 25, so if he continues to enjoy a solid regular season, and wins at least once in the SEC tourney, he should be a lock to get an at-large bid this year. Don't get me wrong, I like White and wish him success at UF and wherever he may end up at later in his career. But, his style of coaching leaves his teams vulnerable to tough tournament play when interior defense, and a half-court offense, are musts.
