He then headed to USC after Pete Carroll headed to the Seahawks. The school was under a 2 year bowl ban as well as a loss of 30 scholarships. That's down to 55 for the entire team at the end of his 3rd year. He was let go in the middle of year 4 after a drumming by Arizona State. Enter Sarkisian, he drank himself out of the job it was such a difficult task to win with so few scholarship players. By the final game of 2014, USC was suiting up 44 scholarship guys. 44! Again, Kiffin wasn't the issue in L.A., Carroll got them in loads of trouble. Kiffin then heads to Bama, he has made 3 straight playoff appearances, with 3 different QBs, all with guys who had never started a game before their year they played. This year, Hurts as a TR FR is the SEC OPOY. Say what ya want, but Kiffin can coach the heck out of QBs, and offense. That's all college football is, especially CUSA. He will win. Kiffin may be an idiot, but I'd take that idiot running our program, mainly because he has been under Saban for the previous 3 years.
