Not sure if it would have a difference in the USM game we probably still would have lost. But what I heard last night was that the D.C. Took over after game 1 and they have the #35 D and we have the #99.

This is true, he took over after the DC for the last couple of years was fired after the Boise State game, the first game of the year. Solid run defense, putrid pass defense overall.

I was amazed that Mullens can't really throw long. Couldn't figure out why USM kept trying to long because every time it ended up being a jump ball. The INT that put ULL back in the game was a fluke. BUT have to give ULL safety credit for paying attention and grabbing the ball after it bounced off the falling receiver's foot then making a good run back. Then again, had USM not gotten greedy and stayed with short passes that jump ball situation would never have occurred.
