    Re: Clutch!

He is about as good as they get...

Never saw his offensive game coming at this level

Could out rebound ANYONE at ANY LEVEL but his offensive prowess is unreal

Yeah, he is a true mismatch. One my friends played for Tulsa during Millsap's era at Tech. One of teammates (post player) told him "that's the strongest dude I've ever tried to move."

My way too early prediction for our current team. Mr. Clutch will be Jalen Harris.

I think he is already our best half court offensive player.

If we need a bucket with 5 seconds on the shot clock... I start with him. He can score from anywhere. 3, MID-RANGE or rim.

    3 seconds, Bracey.

I know this may be sacrilege to some, but at this point in their careers I take these two over Speedy and Heem.

    I agree -

Last night's outcome may have been different if we look for him instead of McCree - he just fumbles the ball way tooo much

Eric may have had his best game up until that moment.

By and large he played with his face to the basket even while driving. I don't remember seeing his pet reverse move very much if at all.

That final turnover was the only time I remember him turning his back to the goal in traffic.

We need to throw the ball into the post more with Sherman. He's outstanding down low.

Also, Joniah is an outstanding passer for a big man. Wow.

Sacrilege to me. Neither of those guys play the defense that Speedy and Heem did. The offensive potential is there, but it's definitely way too early to call any of these guys clutch. They are winless 0-5 against real DI teams, 1-5 if you consider SELA a real DI team.

Agreed. These guys play a lot "softer" than Speedy or Heem, and time will tell how much "toughness" and what degree of competitiveness they develop.

Speedy and Heem were tough as heck until it came to winning a Championship. They then backed down.

It's not all that matters, not by any means.

It got us to NIT, NIT, and NIT, which is a heck of a lot better than most of "peers'.
