I think this may have been a record for total offense in a season, but I can't confirm.

We had 7,206 yards of offense. The only other seasons I can think of that could compete with that would be 1998 (6,576) and 2012 (6,935). Does anyone have access to the record book? 620 points may also be a record.

Just remember not to compare a 14-game slate to 11 or 12 game seasons if doing total gross yardage/points.

Most team stats are listed as per game. Individual stats seem to be totals. Not consistent though.

You are mostly correct. Rattay did sit out many a 4th qtr and parts of 3rd qtrs. Had he played a full 60 mins every game, his numbers would be even more staggering, and probably beyond reach for most mere mortals.
