So Dabo Swinney just beat Nick Saban and Urban Meyer in back to back weeks. Is it time to put him up there with Saban as the best coach in the nation?

Definitely in the Top 3 with Saban and Meyer...

The last play wasn't illegal, every GOOD passing team in college and the NFL runs rubs plays in all formations -

Bama's defense was taking cheap shots at Clemson offensive players that were border line at best

I thought Saban erred when he allowed the offense to deviate from the run which led to 7 or 8 three and outs in the game

The play of the game was when Renfrow made the tackle on what appeared to be the break-away scoop and score on the fumble - that was the TURNING point and kept them in the game

Clemson WANTED it more and sometimes HEART wins ballgames when talent should win out, but don't kid yourself CLEMSON is loaded with offensive and defensive talent - it took a PERFECT onside kick last year for Bama to beat them

    This wasn't a fluke

That would have been a good play for us against MT. I hope we made note of it!

Same thing crossed my mind -

Much higher percentage than HD's fade to the corner

We completed that throw 10 out of 12 times this year. 10 for 10 with Carlos. 0 for 2 with Bonnette. (2 for 2 against Navy)

I bet some bad NFL team is licking its chops to draft Watson. Great player and evidently very smart, graduating in three years.
    Watson declared for draft.

What about all the contact to the head/neck of Mike Williams? The boy got blistered on several plays and no one got called for targeting. It's all subjective. By rule, it would seem that Bama should have played a good portion of the game without 2-3 key defenders if targeting had been enforced.

The big hit on Watson was also the definition of targeting if I remember correctly. The defensive player lead with the crown of his helmet, and it was apparent he did so, as his helmet stripe was noticeably ripped after the play.

And let's not forget that almost all plays, with the possible exceptions of quick throws or sacks, have some form of holding or another. No game in football is completely "legal" by the refs textbook.
