'This is outrageous': Student blasts professor for comments about Trump dying
A Boston professor is under fire for a now-deleted YouTube recording in which he mused about President Trump's death.
Northeastern University economics professor Barry Bluestone purportedly says on the tape that "sometimes, I want to just see [Trump] impeached. Other times, and I hope there aren't any FBI agents here, I wouldn't mind seeing him dead."
Aubrey Kenderdine, a Campus Reform contributor who is a senior at the school, ripped Bluestone for his remarks.
"Here we see a respected professor advocate for violence against our president in a public forum while hes representing my university. This is outrageous," Kenderdine said.

He’s a lifelong Democrat, a prominent Harvard Law School professor and constitutional scholar who voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016.
- And who are his “biggest enemies”? They’re not who you’d think.
“There’s no question. My biggest enemies are the hard left,” said Alan Dershowitz during an interview featured in the upcoming documentary “No Safe Spaces.” “The far left poses a far greater danger to the American future than the hard right.”- Dershowitz referenced concerns about the August 2017 rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, that featured neo-Nazis, Klan members and other white supremacists. The event turned deadly when a man rammed his car into a group of counter-protesters, killing one woman and injuring 19 more at Emancipation Park. The mix of political extremists included radicals aligned with Antifa, a black-clad, helmet-wearing group of self-described anarchists and revolutionary communistsknown for violence and threats. The crowd gathered in response to a city plan to remove a statue of Robert E. Lee as part of a nationwide push to tear down Confederate symbols.
- As disturbing as the neo-Nazis’ views are, Dershowitz said those groups don’t concern him to the degree that the hard left does.
“I’m not worried about a few dozen people with swastikas who want to replace the Jews, because they’re our past,” Dershowitz explained. “They have no resonance on university campuses today.
How does Dershowitz explain the apparent lack of opposition to the hard left on American campuses?
- “In 50 years of teaching at Harvard, Stanford, NYU, Hebrew University, you name it, I have never met a group of less courageous people in my whole life than tenured Harvard and tenured other professors,” he said. “They are so terrified of their own shadow. They don’t want to do anything that upsets a student.”
- Rather, professors are concerned that students may give them negative class evaluations, and the poor reports will damage their social standing.
“They want their student evaluations to be very, very high. They want to be admitted to all the academic societies and clubs,” Dershowitz explained. “I have been blackballed from numerous of these organizations. I was the most highly regarded classroom teacher for years at Harvard until I started making these points. And then groups of students attacked my ratings. They would give me zero, zero, zero, zero in order to punish me for expressing my views.”
“But the hard, hard left? Anti-Semitism, anti-Christianity, intolerance for speech. It’s the future. These are our leaders,” he lamented. “When I used to teach 150 students in my first year of criminal law, I’d look around and I’d say, ‘Future president. Future chief justice. Future editorial director of the New York Times. Future managing partner of Goldman Sachs. They’re our future. And that’s why we have to worry much more about what’s going on on university campuses than in Charlottesville.”

A Texas Antifa student group hosted a six month health program to “politicize” students with “mental illnesses,” according to a Thursday report.
The Revolutionary Student Front at the University of Texas at Austin hosted a “Revolutionary Mental Health Program” “to address the mental health needs of students in a way that would primarily serve to politicize and strengthen them, to become more committed to revolution and more capable of carrying it out,” reported Far Left Watch.
The UT Austin Antifa student group based its 2017 program on “Turn Illness Into A Weapon,” a book charting the neo-Marxist Socialist Patients Collective group’s actions in Germany, which placed the blame of mental illness on capitalist oppression.
The Revolutionary Student Front sought to create a health care system that not only treated students for their mental illnesses, but also mobilized them to fight capitalism.
“The primary method of combating the symptoms of mental illness that we face under capitalism must be organizing those suffering to come into violent class conflict with the system that creates their illness,” said the group in its 13,000-word manifesto.
The group also admits at one point that members of its own leadership suffer from “mental illnesses.”

U.S. Capitol Police have arrested a male Democratic operative for assaulting a female Interior Department communications official following a House budget hearing Thursday.
The assault happened after Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke finished testifying on the department’s 2019 budget proposal before the House Committee on Natural Resources. The suspect identified himself as a reporter with American Bridge and pushed a female Interior Department communications official to the floor, chasing after Zinke, The Daily Caller News Foundation learned.
Interior communications director Laura Rigas was “greatly alarmed and extremely irate that a female senior member of my DOI Communications team was physically assaulted today by a Democrat staffer from the PAC American Bridge,” she told Politico.
Interior officials filed a police report, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned, but it has not yet been processed, police said. It will be made public in seven to 10 days once processed.

I honestly think the best thing for the country right now would be for a wave of conservative and moderate democrats to get elected (even where Republicans currently hold office, like the guy in Pennsylvania) and effectively destroy the idiot wing (the Bernie Sanders/Elizabeth Warren/Hillary Clinton/California/New York wing) of the party and make Maxine and Nancy (and their ilk) look like the idiot outliers that they are. Obama pulled that party so far left that a socialist would likely have been elected if the dems had allowed a real fair fight in the primaries.

The problem with your idea is that conservative or moderate democrats all vote exactly like they're told to once they get to DC and it is explained to them exactly who it is that runs the Democrat Party. The Republican Party operates exactly the same way in DC. That's why President Trump is so hated by the DC establishment. He, like millions of us, has basically told that DC establishment that they can all go straight to hell as far as we're concerned. The best thing for the country right now would be for the DC establishment to be totally destroyed and replaced with a representative government like it was designed to be. Until we completely drain the swamp, we'll never be able to fix what's wrong in DC.
