A friend (now deceased) was a horticulture major at Tech. He got the contract, many years ago, to landscape Centenary's campus. In his warped sense of humor, he thought it would be funny to plant flowering plants such that a distinct pattern would emerge...yes, that of a swastika. It was that way for years and no one noticed because it was over a large area, central campus open space. Centenary was putting together a new brochure and thought an aerial shot of the campus would look nice on the cover. Hello!

It's also being reported that the owner has resigned as executive director of Mainstreet Lexington, a local business association. Too bad she didnt make her point in a more effective manner.

All these exhibits of misbehavior by "the left" --including the Red Hen incident-- are simply examples of frustration by the liberals, and very strong proof that the conservatives and Donald Trump are winning. In fact, the conservatives are winning everything. Almost every day Trump wins something. Today it was two key Supreme Court cases, including his Travel ban against some predominantly Muslim countries. Yes, he won these court cases and spiked the football right in the face of the liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals --and the very liberal state of Hawaii-- in the process.

Hmm. Let us count some of Trump's wins: Let's see, there was the Gigantic tax cut bill that will ultimately save money for over 80% of American households and repatriate literally trillions of dollars back into the U.S. economy, the Neil Gorsuch confirmation to the Supreme Court, the Declaration and confirmation of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the roll-back of Obama's liberal Cuba policies, he made good on a campaign promise by withdrawing the U.S. from the TPP and the Paris climate accord, his astounding success at denuclearizing North Korea, his success at gutting ISIS and other terrorist organizations, his executive order that cut regulations for small businesses and his move forward with plans to repeal the Obama administration's signature Clean Power Plan. Trump has also cracked down on illegal immigration and "sanctuary cities", he has raised the U.S. economy's growth rate from a dismal 0% under Obama to an astounding 3.8% and rising, he created more than a million jobs by undoing Obama's regulations, he has achieved the lowest overall unemployment rate since the Reagan administration over 30 years ago, he has gotten black unemployment down to its lowest level in history, he removed 36% more criminal gang members from the U.S. than in 2016 on Obama's watch, he's got consumer confidence at an all-time high, the stock market is at an all-time high, he successfully weakened Dodd-Frank regulations, he gutted over 800 Obama regulations which freed up companies to hire again, he ended the "war on coal" and caused a new mine for coal mining to open that will mine clean coal, he put the miners back to work, he recruited such companies as Foxconn, Ford, Toyota, Intel and many others to build new plants here in the U.S. instead of building overseas as planned, he sanctioned Iran over its' missile program, he responded strongly to Syria's use of chemical weapons, he got America's food stamp use to its' lowest level in 7 years, he appointed more Federal judges in his first year than any other President in history, he shut down funding to Pakistan, he addressed over 50 Arab nations in Riyadh and obtained massive funding for the U.S. in the form of weapons purchases and commitments to defund terrorism, and he hired more women is Cabinet positions than any U.S. President in history.

I could go on --I really could-- but hopefully even the most foolish of Trump haters (and you know who you are!) get the picture. The man is accomplishing more achievements at a faster pace than any POTUS in U.S. history.

Yep.....the other Mainstreet board members asked her to resign and leave town. According to them, the whole town is suffering from a backlash, and they want her to get out of town!

That lady (the Red Hen owner) would probably never admit it, but I'm sure her life has turned upside down, simply because she didn't have the guts to make her own decisions. She said she confronted Sarah Huckabee after some of her gay employees expressed concern (whatever that means). So she told her employees that she could ask Huckabee to leave if they wanted her to, and she then asked them what they wanted her to do. They encouraged her to confront Huckabee and throw her out. So she did.

This was a classic case of a business owner not using wisdom or common sense, and now having to pay a very high price for her own stupidity. She didn't have the guts to tell her gay workers to simply go back to work. No, instead, she got sucked into the bigotry and turned it into a political firestorm, and literally let them make the decision for her. Why would she do something so stupid when presumably she shoulders all the financial risk of the business failing from any potential blowback?

She must be a first time business owner.

When they print and define the word "stupid" in the new Websters dictionary for 2019, they will likely put this lady's picture in there for the definition. You just can't make up stories this stupid.
