Hmmm, Gaul is divided into three parts? What about Shakespeare's "et tu, Brutus" or "Veni, Vidi, Vici"? Roma, Punic, Latium, Gladius, Pilum are some good ones as well

It met him a couple of weeks ago. He's a tall big'n. Meets the eye test. If he can get that body into the football . . . look out!

I am headed for Australia next month ( 3 weeks) -- they play Australian Rules Rugby from time they can walk--Tough sons of guns -- they think our football is wimpy. Did we get this young man ?

don't get me stated-- I was at Maryhill for 3 years and still not happy they stopped doing mass in Latin ...

my favorite missed translation is this

Australian Rules Rugby

Blasphemy! There's Australian Rules Football, and Rugby. Not all that similar. Rugby is more popular in New South Wales and Queensland, Aussie Rules I would say is more popular in Victoria, S.A., and W.A.. Outside of the schoolyard, most kids do not play both. Where I grew up in Western Australia, you really had to work to find rugby beyond the international competitions when they would come to town.

You are correct, though, the one thing both agree on is they think gridiron is wimpy.

This Aussie punter has to be my favorite signee. 6'4", 230 lbs. He can punt with either foot and may be our kickoff guy.

So, LA Tech has a 4-yr starting RB go to the NFL and be successful this year as a rookie, but we don't have any RB's in this recruiting class? Are people (RB's in the Ark-LA -TX-MS) not paying attention?

I don't get it.

We'll have 2 senior RBs in 2017. After that, we have:
- Hopefully one RB coming off chemotherapy
- Steal from SFA coming off torn ACL
- Walk-on turned scholarship fullback
- 2 more walk-on RBs

The WM RB chose to be part of a 3-man RB class to Tennessee in addition to the Vols current roster loaded with RBs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
