    W. Basketball. WKU Holds of @LATechWBB 67-58

A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:

Louisiana Tech head coach Brooke Stoehr saw her team do a lot of good things Thursday night at E.A. Diddle Arena, but league leader WKU fought off the Lady Techsters in a 67-58 win before 1,127 fans.

We still have a ways to go, but there is no denying that this team has fight in them. I think we surprise some teams in the tournament. We could have won that last night, but we have these cold streaks that really hurt us. Our defense is on track. We need to go on a win streak now to move up in the standings before the end of the regular season.

Our schedule is set up to allow a good win streak here at the end. CUSA WBB is really bad with the exception of a few teams who are really good. The problem is that the story of this season has been that we lose games we should win by breaking down in the last few minutes. We have good fight up until the last 5 minutes or so, then the wheels fall off. If we can keep that fight up for a full game, we would see drastic improvement in the W-L column.

And, sometimes, the opposite - they start fighting at the end. There is an inconsistency that is a big barrier right now. We CAN beat any team in the league. That is obvious by the Charlotte game and how close some others have been. Just have to play a full complete game, as you state.
