These are away games and it's a basically a buy one get 3 free scenario cause it's an exempt tourney...
BTW season ticket sales haven't fluctuated very much at all over that period

Not 3 for 1 but 2 for 1. It's my understanding it's an exempt holiday tourney. Either way it doesn't effect our home schedule one iota and it should be an easy W vs ASU and a quality win over a top 150 RPI team in an area of the state we desperately need to play in on a regular basis...

I thought teams were only allowed one MTE per season.
But I'm with you. I don't have a problem with this NOLA event. Attendance would be horrible for pretty much any opponent in Ruston right before Christmas, and C-USA has bowl games both those days we could potentially be playing in. I also think every year ULL plays in Ruston, we should be playing in NOLA at either Tulane or UNO. That way we play at least one game in South Louisiana every year for recruiting and alumni engagement, and this tourney is a nice replacement for that.
It will be very interesting to see what our final 3 games are.
for the most part and they are well below what most would think...

Nope, then I lose a contact. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out in the best of times we sale less than 2k season tix, it the other times it only drops a couple a 100...
That's pretty damn static...
And it's the same for football just a different number and a few 100 variance
That's why season tix number for all sports are hardly ever released

When the numbers are not large - and they have been the same since the early 90's with the same small fluctuations - even during the HORRIBLE years - then it is the classic definition of "static" -
While schedule "quality" of schedule effects single game sales within that season - it has little to NO bearing on season ticket sales
Same for football - even with a great schedule like this year, we will only see a small increase over season ticket sales over last year which was a HORRIBLE home slate
And if you remove the counts on the DAC and new press-box for this year and year before last the changes are even less
Once again - static to the core

Good old Memorial Gym
When you make the kind of money our decision makers make it is difficult to relate to the demographic range in the area. Asking a family of four to spend $75 or more to attend one ball game is not good marketing. We can tell them till we are blue in the face, but all they want to hear is how great their lame promotions are.
USM releases schedule which confirms location for 2 USM games and the FAU/FIU dates
