Inning 2 UAPB tied it up. Then Diaz hit a sac fly RBI followed by a Chase Lunceford 3 RUN HOMER.
Tech leads 6-2 after 2 innings.

In the 7th Tech gets a sac fly RBI. Then Cody Daigle hit his first homerun of the season for two more.

In the bottom of the 8th J'mar Smith made his first appearance at bat. He was hit by the pitch.

Did they add extra drink stands for concessions for Saturday?
I'm sorry but Friday night's crowd was way too much for our "one-holer" concession operation.
A plus: the grilled cheeseburgers were outstanding and the waters were 20 oz bottles ($3 each). Last year they were selling the 16 oz. lukewarm "loss leader" waters from Super1 (for $3) . . . which cost $2.50 for a case of 24.

Normally, I'd say "too many people than concessions is used to" is a good problem to have.
Unfortunately, I've visited concessions at *insert any Tech sport*. It'll never change.

For the series sweep Tech outscored UAPB 40-4.

He got very little PT, but Casey Sullivan (not Sutton) was throwing some serious HEAT in limited action. The UAPB batters were overwhelmed by his 90+ MPH fastball.
