Question for Dawg06 or any other expert.

Should we finish tied with Middle, would be considered co-champs and therefore eligible for Nit autobid if we don't win conference tourney?

We would be co-champs, but the NIT auto-bid is given to the conference tournament 1 seed, which would be MTSU as a result the head-to-head tiebreaker.

Our NIT chances are basically 0.001%.

That answered my question. Nit considers 1 seed conference champion.

For Tech to earn the 1 seed and NIT auto bid, MTSU has to lose out, and Tech has to win out. MTSU's magic number to clinch the 1 seed and NIT auto bid is 1.

Tech's magic number to clinch a bye is 1.

It doesn't matter who the number 1 seed is, UAB is guaranteed the championship.

Why do you need guards when you can have zebras?
