Why do you need guards when you can have zebras?

I am not sure even the zebras can help them enough without some semblance of guard play.

Nick Norton played less than a half in the first game of the year before going down with a season ending injury.

They may have the best frontcourt and worst backcourt in the league.

They have tried to patchwork it but have been truly horrendous lately. Things can obviously change, but the trend has been decidedly bad, losing 5 of their last 6 with 4 of the losses being blowouts. Throw in a first year coach... it surely doesn't look like their year. Even so, I understand the concerns about their homecourt advantage.

UAB's biggest problem at the moment is their 1st year coach - got out-coached in several games that I got to watch them playing (WKU & Marshall).

Well we know that was not a typical game for us... but the brunt of their woes manifested themselves after we left Birmingham.

Who knows? I think it may have revealed some problems with the young coach's lack of control.

They may get it turned around. The have the FU's in Birmingham next week... after they go to Middle this Sunday.
