Lonnie Cooper out of Carroll
Gerrod signed with Tim Floyd at Iowa State, spent one winter and transferred out
Johnny Simmons was hired on Keith Richard's staff and Tiger came with him to Tech
Wayne Powell out of Peabody
The Smith Brothers out of Atlanta
Corey Dean out of Ruston
Anthony Dade out of Ruston
The sad fact is MOST of the kids in north Louisiana are academic casualties on the basketball side
But from 1990 till 1995 we wondered in purgatory in basketball hell on the recruiting side
Then Kerry Rupp set us back from what little gains Woo and Richard made

i might be wrong but I am pretty sure Lonnie Cooper did not attend Carroll, but instead Tallulah.
Anybody else notice what Qiydar Davis did in his debut for ISU at Indiana? Set the tone by draining a 3 on ISU's opening possession and hit another 3 to put ISU up 30 by points. Finished with 13 points on 5-6 shooting, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in ISU's big win. Made Larry Bird proud.
Really - after two devastating knee injuries glad to see him have that type of game...

He was due. He was 4-20 from the field and 0-6 on 3 pointers in their first two exhibition games.
Indiana State seems like they've made a living off of our transfers. I think it was Dwayne Lathan Rupp ran off. Lathan transfered to ISU, led the team in scoring in a year they went to the tournament.
Davis's transfer was totally different - coming off two devastating injuries and he personally needed a change of scenery to hopefully change his physical luck
I wish him all the best
Rupp didn't think Lathan could play at this level and purposely ran him off after the kid played an outstanding second half to his freshman year

Also if we didn’t run off Dwayne Lathan, we probably could have snagged his brother who went to TCU and then the Titans.
Not sure what to think of Jalen Harris deciding to transfer - mid-season even. https://twitter.com/TheJalenHarris/status/944257691815415808
