I reffed Amari in AAU ball and watched him play at Ruston High. Frankly, I didn't think he was very good. A big body and not much else. From the video, it looks like he has really improved his touch around the basket. He's a lefty, and he finishes well with that hand. He gets good positioning on the block and can finish. However, he's not particularly explosive or athletic. He doesn't scream Division 1 player to me.

Alan Davis? The word "smooth" comes to mind. One of those kind of players that quietly go about doing their job, night after night, contributing....never really standing out, but then you look back and say, wow! heck of a player who was a major reason his team was so successful. And his team was very successful!
Quidar has had a pretty good year at Indiana State.

We need to bring in a Senior Transfer/JUCO Big (PF/C) and a Freshman Big. The other spot maybe a SG.
Based on that roster we need at least (2) bigs that can help us next year. McKinley was a waste of a scholarship, the freshman kid Thomas will be a 2-3 year project. So we will only have Powell and Washington which is what we have right now. If we dont get at least (1) that can come in and actually be a good defender and scoring threat then next year will be a repeat of this year. Can't win enough games with just athletic guards and small forwar -we need help in the paint on both ends of the court. I love what we have coming back but we need help in order to improve.
Here's a list of players transferring http://verbalcommits.com/transfers/2018
Not a lot of big men that are immediately available (yet)
