WTG Dawgs. One of the best teams we've seen in a long time.
Ridiculously long bottom of the 5th as Wichita State delayed and took insane amounts of time for the dugout to give the sign for each pitch to the catcher. I have watched thousands of baseball games and I have never seen a team slow play the opponent that way.
Very nice bounce back win...

Was also pretty chilly as the night drug on. Almost didn't bring a hoodie, would have been miserable if I didn't.
Also, not sure who brought it up or where, but today I did see a post advertising the basketball/baseball doubleheader. Kinda late I guess, but better than never I suppose.
I think they're doing themselves a disservice. The coach is extending the time his team is on the field and just standing on that turf for long, inactive moments can be exhausting. Most fielders want quick action so they have an easier time to concentrate on the situation and play. Also, he is giving the opposing pitcher more time to recuperate from the previous inning.
It seems to be a version of the football "mercat" offense, and for baseball, it is stupid.
Sutton is out sick so Linck is getting the start today. Burroughs said they're keeping Sutton away from the team. Sunday starter is now TBA.
