    Maybe.

I don't know enough about that law to comment. Questions I have...and yes, I can and probably will Bing! it and learn something about it...does the law protect whistleblowers who remove (take....steal) government documents, if those documents are critical to proving what that person is blowing about? If it's possible for some bureaucrat to destroy evidence and thus deny the blower his/her evidence, then does the law excuse the removal of said evidence?

My only....very limited....exposure to the whistleblower circumstance occurred in a state agency. That case is still in litigation...now about 4 years later...the state itself is on the hook, and those on the other side are openly complaining they are being denied justice. That the state is dragging its feet hoping all this "just goes away."

In the case of this Dennis Cain, I suppose we'll learn more later.

    Re: Russia

Just saw a report posted on one of the blogs I follow that a whistleblower said to be a Klinton Foundation insider, and allegedly in possession of evidence, has been taken into protective custody by the FBI. No name mentioned...so, is this Dennis Cain, or someone else? That blog is big into "click bait" so maybe they have all that information and will slowly release it. Or! maybe it's much ado about nothing.

Right now...given how easily the Klintons have skated past the law before....this is all a solid block of salt (not just a grain of it).

Lookie, lookie - just as I predicted.

From the court filings yesterday —Cohen's false statements to investigators about the Trump Tower Moscow project "obscured the fact that the Moscow Project was a lucrative business opportunity that sought, and likely required, the assistance of the Russian government."

I get tired of being “right” so much.

BS. Lawyers lie all the time especially liberal ones. NEXT!

Fake news and "deep state" illegal deals and trappings.

Besides, as you will find out, Trump has been cleared and their was zero collusion.

"AFTER TWO YEARS AND MILLIONS OF PAGES OF DOCUMENTS (and a cost of over $30,000,000 to American taxpayers), NO COLLUSION!”

You're going to end up on the wrong side of history in this battle Guiss. Watch what's happening in Paris. The police are starting to remove their helmets in solidarity with the freedom fighters. Freedom loving people of the world are done with cowing down to would be socialist oppressors like yourself. You people need to understand that we'll fight you all to the death first. You've pushed us all about as far as we're going to be pushed, and when we push back, you're all going to feel like you've been hit by a tsunami. People that you worship, like George Soros, are doing their best to get this blood in the streets carnage started. Sheeple like yourself should be careful what you wish for. What's coming won't be pleasant for anyone.

You realize the people in Paris are protesting the rollback of socialism, right?

I don’t know. Cutting taxes that largely benefit the wealthy and cutting benefits that largely hurt the poor is not a recipe for success in pro-socialist countries.

Nah...more like a liberal union revolt. Good for them as socialist hasn't worked well anywhere in the world. Just one step from marxism and communism if Macron hadn't blinked. And remember only the government has the guns, not the protestors.

"At the core of the address - were four simple changes: a rise in the minimum wage; the removal of tax and social charges on overtime; encouragement to employers to give workers a tax-free bonus; and an end to a surcharge on most pensions. Plus concessions already given - an end to the fuel tax rise and "mobility" grants for people who drive to work - and the yellow vests suddenly appear as one of the most successful protest movements of modern times."

Very good explanation and analysis of the witch hunt by Alan Dershowitz last night on Tucker Carlson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_HYRFYrnxs I've been saying all along that this was extortion by Avonatti and he should be prosecuted.

Uh. You realize those 4 changes aren’t what are being protested - those are the concessions Macron has proposed to appease the protestors.
