If the DNC in kahootz with Krooked Killary not tampered with the primaries, Bernie might be President today. That's one reason to thank Krooked Killary, she eliminated a viable candidate for the general election. And yes, Bernie is VERY dangerous.

Do you remember how it wasn't even a big deal and no sanctions were announced until after Obama's pet Hillary was defeated in the election, then suddenly it became a crisis that was governed by hysteria and emotion instead of calculation and review? I know you feel like Obama should be able to govern beyond his term, but it's Trump's policy now and he doesn't answer to Obama's whims (just like Obama didn't have to leave troops in Iraq even though that was the plan put forward by the Bush administration...allowing the JV team to gain a foothold and extend the strife in the country).
Do you also remember how, on February 26th, Mnuchin stated the sanctions were being finalized and would be implemented in 30 days?

In August 2016, Obama received a briefing that said Vladimir Putin was directly involved in a campaign to hurt Hillary Clinton and help Trump win the election. He had his aides assess the safety of the American voting system, he had the head of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson work with states to shore up security, and he had John Brennan contact the head of the Russia security agency.
But Obama did not make the information public, as Democrats on the Hill wanted. Republicans argued it should stay under wraps. According to then-Vice President Joe Biden, Mitch McConnell questioned the findings themselves, and others argued it would only help Russians to release it, or make it look like the Obama administration was stepping into the election to directly oppose Donald Trump.
As Biden told those in attendance at an event held by the Council on Foreign Relations in January, “Can you imagine if the president called a press conference in October, with this fella, Bannon, and company, and said, ‘Tell you what: Russians are trying to interfere in our elections and we have to do something about it.’ What do you think would have happened? Would things have gotten better, or would it further look like we were trying to delegitimize the electoral process because of our opponent?”
In contrast, after receiving a briefing of Russian interference in the election, Trump went on to deny it for over a year!

Gee, I sure am glad the Obama admin stayed neutral! In retrospect, the fact that they were not neutral and directly opposed Trump was probably one of the biggest reasons Trump pulled it off. He is the anti-Obama.
The fact remains that Obama doesn't make policy any more. What you posted was nice democrat spin, but it doesn't change the fact that Trump is now calling the shots about when and if this kind of stuff happens. Blaming Senate republicans for presidential decisions is pretty weak.
Time will tell if his decisions will be a mistake or not, just like it was for every other president that changed course when elected (remember the famous "RESET" button?).

And Trump still hasn’t directed the NSA to confront the Russian cyber threat. He testified that because we haven’t implemented sanctions yet that signals to Putin there will be no consequences.
Unbelievable failure of leadership because he sees this whole Russia thing as an attack on his ego.
Dude your babe Hillary lost fair and square and should now be residing in a mental home. And Obama did zippo/NADA to protect the USA against cyber attacks. Obama just used the NSA, the IRS and the FISA court to spy and derail his "enemies inside the US". The failure of leadership was Obama and Hillary using their anti-constitutional powers along with their "leadership" to spy and "try" to defeat the GOP using the NSA, IRS and bogus FISA warrants. You lost! And America won't become the next Venezuela. Get over it already.
Obama did more in his closing months to protect us from cyberattacks than Trump has done in his first > 1 year. How are you supposed to get over your president not doing anything to protect your country from Russian cyber attacks?
