The playbook is sadly predictable.
When the central subjects of an investigation have a problem with truth telling, this is how you do it - build from the outside in, so that when you go to the central subject you already know most of the story and you can ask the critical questions. This is the same tactic they used with HRC, saving her interview for last.
Was that the interview they refused to do under oath, that came after the memo was drafted clearing her of all charges, and where she said she did not recall virtually anything (especially that she had ever been given training on how to handle classified material)?
Yeah, they sure were tough on her!
Perhaps a special council appointed to look into that could do a better job?
It was the one after the draft of the memo was started. FBI doesn’t need to put you under oath - if you lie it is obstruction regardless of an oath.
