How could he be a transfer from LSU when he is coming from Tyler JC with three years of eligibility? He had a year at LSU and a year at Tyler which leaves only two years left.
The only scenario where this works is if LSU reshirted him, which they probably did, giving him four years eligibility after he transferred. Since he did transfer to a Div. I school he could play immediately and since he is transferring from a JC (after one year) he can play immediately. So voila. Three years eligibility at Tech. You can also note that he was a five star recruit when he signed with LSU but now only a three star which is BS.
Of course it was "did not transfer to Div. I school"
Just another five star recruit by LSU to prevent someone else from signing and then red shirting him. This was an ingenious way to keep playing competiively during his one year wait to sign with another Div. I school. LSU also tried to screw him around and block him signing with any SEC school or TCU. I'll bet he will be ready to kick some Tigger ass come September.
Amen!! I am big fan of your posts -- I actually saw this in reverse under Dykes-- we had a receiver with 2 stars commit- LSU got him to commit and next day he was 4 stars ( Rivals) -- go to Tech you 2 star-- come to LSU you 4 star. trent was zero star -- you nailed it, BS
